As a Hot Line Cook, you will work closely with the Chef to execute daily menu items. An emphasis on high quality food production and safety standards is an essential function of the Line Cook.

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and cook with tilt skillets, steam kettles, Rationale ovens, and/or commercial rice cookers
  • Prepares menu items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follows recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by Head Chef
  • Cleans and maintains production equipment while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation, and organization skills
  • Assists with overall kitchen organization, including walk-in coolers and all dry storage areas

What You’ll Bring

  • 2 or more years experience with batch cooking in a high volume commercial food production facility
  • High school graduate or GED equivalent
  • Proven ability to execute food production to meet time, quality, and volume standards
  • Strong desire to improve culinary skills and knowledge to a world-class level
  • A strong sense of teamwork
  • All candidates must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States for any employer
  • ServSafe / Food Handler’s certification
